LS FABRICATIONS, the third-generation family-run precision sheet metal fabrication business based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, has gained accreditation from the Made in Britain organisation. The company primarily operates in the medical, digital signage, aerospace and retail sectors but it also carries out extensive work in the electronics and transport industries.
James Hills, business development manager at LS Fabrications, said, “For us Made in Britain is a great initiative to promote British manufacturing. Britain has a lot of manufacturing history and contains some of the most skilled engineers in the world and we are glad we are a part of it, especially at this challenging time for the industry.”
LS Fabrications is using the Made in Britain Mark on its email signatures, business cards and website. Mr Hills told us the company is also in the process of getting new brochures produced so it will be included in these.
