SATURDAY'S edition of The Guardian newspaper carried an inserted supplement called the Green and Ethical Checklist, which promotes sustainable and ethical products and businesses. Made in Britain supported this issue with a half-page article on page five, using the space to promote its product directory and the benefits of the Green Growth Programme.
Ilika Copleand, chief operations officer at Made in Britain, said, "This is the second week in a row that we have had a presence in The Guardian and we are pleased to see our message getting out to its significant weekend readership. We expect this increased awareness of the product directory to result in many more visits from people looking to buy quality, sustainable products made in Britain."
