Electric transport refrigeration is handling the complex challenge of multi-temperature deliveries, with Sunswap operating across different temperature zones in single trailers for major retailers including Tesco and food producers Cranswick.
Sunswap's technology shows electric refrigeration can handle these complex operations through purpose-designed remote evaporators working alongside their primary Endurance unit. This delivers independent temperature control across compartments, configured as lanes, bulkhead setups, or double-decker arrangements.
Sunswap's multi-temperature solution is running with Tesco and Cranswick, allowing transport operators to maintain different temperature zones in a single trailer.
The capability comes from purpose-designed remote evaporators that integrate alongside the Sunswap Endurance refrigeration unit. Available in both 700mm wide and full compartment width units with either single or dual air flow.

Multi-temperature transport addresses a critical operational need for logistics firms to operate compartments at different temperature setpoints. Sunswap's remote evaporator technology has a compact design that maximises cargo space while providing independent temperature control for each compartment.
