A few weeks back YANA visited its friends at Newcastle Women's Aid and donated 30 YANA garments. YANA was humbled to be given the opportunity to have a look around their warm, calming and safe space where women and children who have been affected by domestic violence are able to get the support they need.
YANA was able to see how the money the YANA community raised earlier this year from its competition has been used to make the space Covid-19 safe so the team at NWA can get back to supporting women and children, face to face.
Hats off to the NWA team, they’re doing such an important and wonderful job in such difficult times.
YANA might only be a small business, but it is so pleased to be able to support a very important, local charity and will continue to do so in any way it can. Community is so important to YANA and is truly at the heart of everything it does.
