An ergonomic, tactile shape that is perfect for handrails and balustrades in conjunction with structural glass and brickwork. This low-maintenance design is commonly used as decorative metal tubing for architectural and marine purposes. Founded by Timeless Tube in 1987, the iconic elliptical tube profile combines a gentle aesthetic together with an ergonomic shape.

When used as a handrail, the tubing can be joined with specially designed cast joiners, creating an uncompromising, seamless form (oval tubing can even be dry-joined with our joiners if welding is not an option). This enables fabricators to produce high-quality handrails and balustrades in conjunction with structural glass and brickwork.

Timeless produce over 200 sizes of oval tubing, and can custom-make new sizes if your project requires. Stainless steel 316L or stainless steel 304 are ideal for both internal and external applications, while aluminium 5083 offers reduced weight. Stainless steel and aluminium 5083 oval tube profiles are sold in lengths of 5.8m (the manufacturing process reduces the standard 6m length by 0.2 metres). Copper, brass, bronze and titanium oval tubes are also available.

Timeless offer further fabrication processes such as welding and polishing, or powder-coated tubing. If you require smaller sections of oval tubing to be bent for your application, please ask; engineers can ‘roll’ sweeping arcs into the shaped tube, or use tooling to produce tighter, ‘fixed radius' bends.
