Campaign Members Scoop Multiple Awards at Top100 2016

The Manufacturer magazine’s Top 100 most influential people in manufacturing were unveiled at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery on Tuesday 1st November.  Made in Britain members, Leather Satchel Co., LockaboxUrgo Medical and The Printed Paper Cup Company were all delighted to receive Top100 trophies, with Exemplar Status for outstanding contribution to manufacturing,  awarded to Harvey Bowden, Chairman of Harvey Water Softeners, Tony Grimshaw, Director of What More UK Ltd, Jordan Daykin, Managing Director of GripIt Fixings, and Bridie Warner-Adsetts, Chief Operations Officer at Naylor Industries plc

Peter Morris of Lockabox, commented, “Awards and presentations give you the opportunity to meet other leadership figures in manufacturing, sharing ideas and plans and finding ways to maximise the opportunities that market conditions are gifting us right now.”

 “The planets are aligned for everyone making products in the UK right now,” declared an upbeat Keith Hanshaw, Leather Satchel Co. “The conditions are right and all manufacturers have to capitalise on this opportunity.”

Justin Cole of Urgo Medical was equally upbeat: “We’re investing in new space, more machinery and looking to expand across the entire business, including our local community engagement with universities and trade bodies.”

The Manufacturer Top 100 comprises of a report and event recognising an elite group of individuals identified as manufacturing champions.
