YANA™ Active, Newcastle’s very own luxury activewear brand is set to make one of their dreams a reality on 2ndAugust 2021, by securing a space inside Northumberland Street’s iconic store, Fenwick.
YANA™ Active was founded in December 2019 by sister-duo Charlotte and Sophie Wilson.
Their aim is to empower their tribe of ‘Everyday Warriors’ by designing and manufacturing unique activewear pieces in the North East, enhancing the concept of multi-functional and fashionable activewear.
“We’ve had an exciting start to 2021; a front cover feature on the North East Times, a fantastic week in Newcastle’s John Lewis store and most importantly launching our brand new 2.0 Collection, but securing a pop-up shop in Fenwick truly is a dream come true.” said YANA™ Co-founder, Sophie.
“In our very early business development stages, we always planned (but mainly dreamt!) of seeing YANA™ in Fenwick stores one day. Our customers and brand values are closely aligned; we both offer luxury items, champion British-made and want to offer our customers the highest quality products.” Said YANA™ Co-founder, Charlotte.
“Fenwick has long been our go-to department store in Newcastle, we always find something special for ourselves or someone else, so for us to be adding to the shopping experience, even for a week, is very exciting for YANA™, but also for us on a personal level!” said YANA™ Co-founder, Sophie.
YANA™ Active’s products are all designed in-house, manufactured in the North East and their 1.0 Collection leggings contain specialist technology that helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Their recently launched 2.0 Collection sees the introduction of recycled fabrics and pieces manufactured in the North East, to maintain their sustainable, ethical and eco-friendly approach to business.
YANA™ Active brings like-minded women together to empower one another, and help their customers make conscious fashion choices that are good for the environment.
YANA™ Active will have a pop-up shop in Fenwick Newcastle’s new ‘The Studio’ space on the first floor opposite Ted Baker from Monday 2nd August to Sunday 8th August 2021.
