Marking 30 years of polythene with 30 acts of community support

This year marks a significant milestone for Imperial Polythene, a leading polythene and compostable bag manufacturer based in Slough as they celebrate their 30th anniversary. To commemorate this special occasion, Imperial Polythene is launching a campaign to give back to the local community through 30 acts of support.

Since 1994, Imperial Polythene has been an integral part of the Slough community, providing quality polythene products across the UK and contributing to the local economy. Now they are reaffirming their commitment to Slough and the wider area by undertaking 30 initiatives aimed at making a positive impact on the community.

Already underway, the team at Imperial has been actively involved in a number of initiatives, including local litter picking sessions, donating to a swan sanctuary to support wildlife conservation efforts, assisting at a food shelter and catalogue sponsorship of an art prize.

Commenting on the milestone and campaign; Sam Marsh, Director of Sales said:

“We are thrilled to reach this important milestone of 30 years in business. As a longstanding member of the Slough community, we are excited to launch our 30 for 30 campaign, where we will carry out 30 acts of support and kindness throughout the year."

The 30 acts will encompass a range of activities, including volunteering at local charities, organising litter picking sessions, donating products to community organisations, sponsoring local events and more. Through these efforts, the company aims to strengthen their ties with the locality and give back to the place that has supported them for three decades.

As part of this campaign, local groups and organisations are invited to reach out to Imperial if they would like assistance or support for projects that will have a positive impact on the community.
